Further Audience Research

The primary audience of the music video will be BC1/2, This is because they will be able to access the video on youtube and other platforms that may to be accessible to members of the lower and working classes, this will also be the audience for the video as the message of the video and song are universal any anyone from any background really can relate to loss and losing a loved one.

The primary audience will also be reformers and explorers. They are reformers as they will be really invested in the narrative of the video and through the investment in personal growth and a growing community they will enjoy the narrative of the video. The audience will also be explorers, as my artist is a new artist and she has a unique sound therefore explorers will be draw to her because she is a new artist and her sound is unique and not like someone they have heard before. However although this will be the main primary audience of the music video, the video can also attract mainstreamers as after the video gains more traction and becomes more popular it will resinate with the mainstreamers that will follow the trend of the new artist and support her music video along with her music.

The primary audience audience will be full/empty-nesters. As that will be most likely the family size of 30-40 year olds. The audience will be both females and males. My artist will also not just appeal to one sexual orientation due to the main couple in the video. In it never made explicitly clear what the relationship between them is, wether they are best friends or in a relationship, in that sense the audience is free to interperperate the story in any sense they want. Which will then again keep them coming back to the video, to see if their theories about the couple have any substantial evidence within the context of the video, generating buzz around the video and us the song which will raise the popularity of the song and my artist.
